Have a plan.
It doesn’t have to be an elaborate plan, and you don’t have to refer back to it if you don’t want to, but going through the process of thinking about a situation, taking into account different variables and what you want to get at the end is going to affect you in ways you can’t imagine beforehand.
Especially creative people have a tendency to intuitively flow from project to project but even they can benefit from some structure. Don’t be afraid of working within boundaries that you yourself set, based on your aspirations and dreams in life.
