ZORA FEARGLAS & COUNCIL OF ELDERS URBAN FANTASY SERIES

Sofie is currently working on the novel Scarlet Souls in the Zora Fearglas series, featuring part-time bar manager and budding magic-user Zora Fearglas.

Enchanting and thrilling in equal measures, the first book is set in Prague where Sofie herself has spent some spectacular weekends. By immersing herself deeply in the fascinating folklore of the Bohemian capital and soaking up the fairytale-like atmosphere that permeateas every bustling street corner and secret alleyway, Sofie’s been able to use all of that in her writing process and world building.

Drawn also to an earlier historical period, a second series, Council of Elders, was born as if out of a creative firestorm. Set in the seventeenth century, book one, Crone Magic, features fledgling witch Magda, a firecracker of a main character that you’re sure to love (she’s just that awesome!).
